Factory built by A.Ovenstone, 1918. Production started in 1919. Produced frozen and canned crayfish. Concrete and wooden 300-ft long jetty. Factory supplied by 17 factory owned boats. 1 January 1952 a profit sharing scheme was created for the skippers and key shore personnel.
